Background of the Honors.
The Gold Shore International Porcelain Art Award is a biennial honor for ceramic artists from worldwide. The inaugural Gold Coastline Ceramic Art Honor held in 1982 was established to motivate the production and also admiration of art in clay. It was held in the Gold Coast City Council Entrance hall at Evandale, prior to the structure of Gold Coast City Gallery.
